The
Gospel Truth Choir - Choir Members
|
|
The Gospel Truth Choir maintains a roster of 16 to
18
permanent choir members, including Tracey (Director)
and Chris (Deputy Director). Here's our current team
of vocalists.
|
 |
Founder member
Madaleine Pritchard is an established
arranger as well as providing
stunning lead vocals.
She spent her formative years on the road
honing her
craft with bands such as the BAFTA award
winning, OSCAR and GRAMMY nominated soul
revivalists ‘The Commitments’ and electro
fusionists "The Everything Treatment".
Career
highlights include opening for The Fun Lovin
Criminals, Al Green, Dr.John, Mayer
Hawthorne, Hue and Cry, Edwin Starr, and
British soul diva Alice Russell. Madaleine's
songwriting and vocal talent is showcased on
her album 'Every Minute'. |

"Introducing
GeO -
Bringing you an irrestible mix of slick,
commercial, edgy pop, new male solo artist
GeO simply cannot be ignored!" You can hear
Geo's vocal skills as the soloist on the
track "Mary's Prayer" on the "Deep Fried
Gospel" album. |

Cherie has sung professionally since
graduating Performers Dance College in
London, from West End appearances at The
Palladium to starring roles for P & O round
the world cruises. She found the Gospel
Truth family after booking them for her own
wedding! |
 |
Maria Doherty
is an incredible vocal talent, who was
introduced to the choir through her vocal
training with Choir Director Tracey. As well
as an increasingly diverse career as a
performer in her own right, Maria is one of
the first choice soloists for the choir
(hear her on "Deep Fried Gospel" on the
track "Caledonia"). |
 |
Paul Gilbody is a founder member of the
choir, providing beat-boxing and vocals
since the very first choir outing!
He has been prominent in the Scottish music
scene since moving to Edinburgh from his
hometown of Belfast in the 90's, and
provides session double-bass, guitar,
percussion and vocals for a wide variety of
artists when he's not performing with the
choir.
